Product description
Low Impact UTP Krone type Punch Dovin Insertion Tool is an essential part of any installer kit that was designed for wiring cables to sockets and patch panels used by network and phone wiring professionals. The universal Scissors cut a variety of cable types, including 20 AWG through 26 AWG, and Type 1 foam-insulated conductors. A specially designed Wire Hook removes terminated conductors. A Blade helps to easily remove the blocks from back mount frames. The tool consists of a handle with a spring mechanism inside and at the tip a small square piece of metal with a square hole init. To use the punch-down tool, a wire is inserted in between the two metal blades on a punch-down block and the punch-down tool is pressed down on top of the wire and the two blades on the punch-down block. This requires a bit of pressure until with an audible snap the wire is stripped and contact made as it is pushed down between the two punch-down block blades. Suitable for wire diameters of 0.4 to 0.78 mm External diameter of insulation: 0.7- 1.4mm.
